CAD Designer / ECN Coordinator Salary: DOE Reports to: Director of Engineering Candidate Profile: Energetic, hands on, highly organized, detail oriented, thorough. Manufacturing oriented Solidworks operator with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision. Strong communication skills; experienced in a team environment. Principle Responsibility: Ensure the business needs for accurate and timely engineering documentation are met. Summary: The principal role of the CAD Designer/ECN Coordinator is to ensure all company documents requiring control meet industry standards, are revision controlled, and are clearly understood by internal and external downstream users. Take a leadership role in the ECN and PDM process. Assist in the sustaining engineering efforts regarding cost reduction and product improvement issues. SolidWorks Operator Temporary Position (entry level) Education Required: High School Diploma with SolidWorks Training Experience Required: 2 years minimum, 5 years preferred Salary: DOE Reports to: VP Engineering Candidate Profile: Hands-on, very organized, detail oriented, manufacturing environment savvy. SolidWorks operator that can work with a minimum of oversight. The candidate must be willing and able to work in a team environment. Principle Responsibility: Ensure engineering documents and drawings are created, modified and sustained in the existing engineering document systems. Summary: The principle role is to create SolidWorks based parts, assemblies, and drawings utilizing standard SolidWorks modeling practices. Must be familiar with large assembly construction practices in SolidWorks environment. The position will require the conversion of AutoCAD based component files into SolidWorks part and assembly models. Working knowledge of AutoCAD or the ability to rapidly learn is required. Knowledge of standard dimensioning and tolerances is required. Operator will assist Solidworks Administrator to organize files and revision control within the PDM Works vault system that is currently in place at the company. Must be willing to assist on the production floor to ensure documentation and component drawings are up to date and meet specification. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
